About Life Made Simpler

Life Made Simpler - Home organization for seniors - Lorna

Hi, I'm Lorna

I'm a calm, respectful professional who understands that organizing after a loss isn't just about "tidying up" — it's about honoring memories, making space for new beginnings, and doing it all with care.

My story

After losing my husband, I realized how overwhelming it felt to face a home full of memories. While attending a support group, I noticed the same question again and again: "What do I do with all of their things?"

Helping friends navigate their own journeys through grief sparked something in me — the realization that I could turn my experience into a service that truly makes a difference.

Life Made Simpler is my way of paying it forward — creating calm out of chaos and helping others take those brave first steps toward healing.

Kind words

  • "Lorna Schwartz is extraordinary. She has an organizational strategy that applies to all situations: preparing for a move, decluttering, downsizing, or helping you decide which possessions of a loved one you can bear to part with. Lorna is calm, compassionate and non-judgmental —never “pushing” her opinion, but always listening with sensitivity and knowing when it’s the right time to recommend options when making the most difficult decisions."
